Beer From The Trappists Served at Excelsior Bar San Diego
Every bar has its own come-on to offer bar patrons and Excelsior Bar San Diego is no exception. In the case of Excelsior, they offer actual bottled beers brewed by real Belgian Trappiste monks. These types of beer are said to be quite potent as well, making you wonder if the monks imbibe these as well or just sell them.
Bottled beer from religious types are not the only stuff sold here – you can also get bottled Leffe or Chimay if you prefer. Don't forget to try the pan-seared mullet and the lobster bisque as well while you're at it.
