If ever you wind up in the Four Seasons Hotel on Paseo de la Reforma, try looking for the El Bar Mexico City which is said to be a Mexican-influenced library and cigar bar. Yes, you read that right – a library - because within the El Bar are shelves upon shelves of books (though bar patrons may be more interested in reading the liquor menu than browsing through any heady literature.)
The drinks of El Bar come in a wide variety. Start off your evening by trying out at least one of their 110 Tequila choices, then move on to either Cohibas, Scotch, champagne, brandy, beer or wine as the evening progresses.
