Chicote Bar Madrid Has Rich Historical Past
Chicote Bar Madrid is a very old bar that has been in existence from around the time of the Spanish Civil War, which may explain why its 1930s interiors have been retained and maintained as they were back then.
Part of Chicote's colorful history is that it has been a haunt of not just writers and artists, but also your friendly neighborhood prostitutes even from the time of Franco. At the moment though, there is no trace of such memories of the Madrid flesh trade here – just a quaint bar that can serve patrons from 8:00 in the morning to 3:00 am the next day.
