The Rock Room Bar is Another Detroit Gem
The Emerald is one of Detroit's all-time and old-time gems, having been around in the city since the 1920s. Since then it has been upgraded at one point or another, which may explain why it has stuck around so long.
Nowadays, The Emerald is like a huge entertainment complex where you can find a ballroom, a stadium for mini concerts, and of course The Rock Room Bar (which fortunately has its own entrance separate from The Emerald's front door.) The Rock Room Bar has its own following among celebs as well.
