Every Latin Quarter needs a bar.  This bar is Oak Room at 10 Birkegade Copenhagen.  While all other bars splurge on externals Oak Room does not and excels in the drinks section. Wine is already abundant but its cocktail concoctions stand out. 

Its creative variations include the Exiled Cathusian (Green Chatreuse, Tanqueray Gin, Cointreau and powdered sugar) and Uptown Rita (tequila, Cointreau and fresh lime juice rimmed with salt) and American classics like Georgia Mint Julep and the New Style Old Fashioned.  Then there are high balls on offer.
