A multi-faceted place is O Gran Sol located at Calle Villalor Bulevar y la Avenida Casanova, Caracas.  It opens at 11a.m. and then on for lunch.  In the afternoon it turns into a betting shop for horse race fans. 

Meanwhile, i the evening it becomes a dance central where live salsa bands play to students, yuppies and well groomed ladies looking for producers or talent managers. If the décor is a little down-home in the morning there is certainly nothing drab come nightfall - thanks to the flow of rum and beer and the dance of those lithe young bodies to the rhythm of salsa.
