Funny, Why is The Medicine Bar in The Custard Factory in Birmingham?
First off, The Medicine Bar is no longer called by that name nowadays – it has been renamed The Medicine Factory (in keeping with its key location within The Custard Factory at Gibb Street.) Second, The Custard Factory is actually a shopping complex that is also home to a Sunday arts and crafts bazaar.
From noon to 3:00 in the afternoon, The Medicine Bar serves the best medicine around – food! - in the form of light dishes like sandwiches and snacks. But once the clock strikes three, expect The Medicine Bar to serve the proverbial white man's medicine (which is liquor), aside from softdrinks for teetotallers.
