Dubious Award Given to Degree Bar Auckland
Degree Bar Auckland was awarded the award as "New Zealand's Best-Marketed Bar" - an award that has a double meaning. It could mean that Degree Bar is a top bar, or it may mean that Degree Bar simply coasts along on great marketing.
Located within the Viaduct Basin, on Quay Street to be exact, don't be surprised that Degree Bar specializes in seafood dishes – like the New Zealand Green Lipped Mussels or the Jumbo King Prawns. But they also have meat-based dishes like the tender New Zealand lamb and the exotic Ostrich steaks.
